This position is based at the Martabe Site within the Environment Department and reports directly to the Supervisor of Data Management & Geographic Information System (GIS).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The<\/strong> Graduate Development Program \u2013 Environment<\/strong> aims to ensure the accurate entry of all environmental data collected by the department into both digital and hardcopy management systems, utilizing specialized database software, such as DataSight, for water quality monitoring data. Proper storage and efficient retrieval of this data is critical to facilitating internal and compliance reporting in line with PTAR\u2019s environmental policies, ANDAL, RKL, and RPL requirements, relevant permits, and Indonesian and international regulations. This role will focus on developing and implementing secure, efficient data management systems for the department’s monitoring data. Additionally, the position involves creating a departmental Geographical Information System (GIS) to allow for professional review and presentation of monitoring data to both internal and external stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Bachelor\u2019s degree in environmental engineering, GIS, or Chemistry.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Up to 3 years of experience in a similar role, or up to 5 years in general mining environmental management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Indonesian citizen aged 18\u201325 for bachelor\u2019s degree applicants or 24\u201328 for Master\u2019s\/Postgraduate applicants.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Minimum GPA of 3.0.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Preferably possess a Light Vehicle (LV) driver’s license.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Proficiency in spoken and written English.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, contribute to a positive work environment, and demonstrate enthusiasm, self-motivation, and the capacity to work independently while achieving objectives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Recruitment Location: Universitas Sumatera Utara (24 & 25 October 2024) and Universitas Sriwijaya (28 & 29 October 2024).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
