{"id":225764,"date":"2025-03-19T15:05:06","date_gmt":"2025-03-19T08:05:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/agincourtresources.com\/?post_type=awsm_job_openings&#038;p=225764"},"modified":"2025-04-22T14:48:41","modified_gmt":"2025-04-22T07:48:41","slug":"senior-metallurgist-met-2503015","status":"expired","type":"awsm_job_openings","link":"https:\/\/agincourtresources.com\/id\/?post_type=awsm_job_openings&p=225764","title":{"rendered":"SENIOR METALLURGIST (MET 2503015)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>This position will be based at the Martabe Gold Mine Site within the Processing (Metallurgy) Department, with direct reporting to the Superintendent &#8211; Metallurgy Operations.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Senior Metallurgist will be tasked with:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Monitoring and reporting on plant performance: Ensuring all processes and equipment operate at optimal efficiency, identifying and addressing any performance issues.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Providing technical and operational guidance: Contributing expertise to enhance process efficiency, recommending improvements, and supporting continuous optimization efforts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supervising plant metallurgists and laboratory test work: Leading and mentoring metallurgists while overseeing laboratory testing to ensure accuracy, reliability, and effectiveness in metallurgical evaluations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Applicants for this position are required to fulfill the following qualifications and criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Educational Background: Possess a tertiary qualification in Metallurgy, Mineral Processing, or Chemical Engineering.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Relevant Experience: Demonstrated experience in Carbon in Leach (CIL) and Semi-Autogenous Grinding (SAG) milling.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gold Processing Expertise: A minimum of five years of experience in a metallurgical role within gold processing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Licenses and Certifications: Hold a valid driver\u2019s license and, if possible, a Personal Occupational Proficiency (POP) certification.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of metallurgical processing methods, tools, raw materials, and technologies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Safety Awareness: Comprehensive knowledge of occupational hazards in the mineral processing industry.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Instructional Comprehension: Ability to interpret and effectively execute written and verbal instructions, including engineering drawings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adaptability &amp; Professional Growth: Demonstrate adaptability to workplace culture and a commitment to continuous self-development.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This position will be based at the Martabe Gold Mine Site within the Processing (Metallurgy) Department, with direct reporting to the Superintendent &#8211; Metallurgy Operations.
