This position is based at the Martabe Gold Mine Site within the Processing (Maintenance) Department and reports directly to the Supervisor \u2013 Electrical and Instrumentation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Electrical and Instrumentation Tradesperson is responsible for providing hands-on technical support in executing electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities across process plant operations and supporting infrastructure. The primary objective of this role is to ensure maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, modification, and servicing activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with operational standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This role requires close collaboration with the Electrical and Instrumentation team, Mechanical Maintenance, Process Operations, Metallurgical teams, Maintenance Planning, and Warehouse personnel to support plant reliability, operational continuity, and overall maintenance performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Applicants should possess the following qualifications and competencies:<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Diploma or bachelor\u2019s degree from a recognized Technical Institute, Polytechnic, Apprenticeship Program, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related disciplines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance within mining, mineral processing, oil & gas, manufacturing, or other heavy industrial operations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Strong understanding of industrial maintenance standards, electrical safety standards, and relevant international codes including ANZS, BS, IEC, ASTM, and other applicable standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Proven experience in Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) maintenance, including troubleshooting, inspection, repair, preventive maintenance, and equipment servicing activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Hands-on experience in electrical and instrumentation installation, commissioning, calibration, maintenance practices, and field execution procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Good understanding of workplace hazards, safety regulations, and risk management practices within mining, mineral processing, and heavy industrial environments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Ability to understand and effectively execute both written and verbal technical instructions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Ability to read, interpret, and work with electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, P&ID drawings, loop diagrams, and single-line diagrams.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. Basic to intermediate English communication skills, both verbal and written, to support technical coordination and reporting activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  10. Ability to work safely, independently, professionally, and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  11. Strong attention to detail with commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, workmanship, and operational discipline.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  12. Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of demonstrating accountability, discipline, and a strong commitment to continuous improvement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  13. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability with the ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve electrical and instrumentation issues effectively and efficiently.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
