{"id":335323,"date":"2026-08-06T11:53:20","date_gmt":"2026-08-06T04:53:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/agincourtresources.com\/?post_type=awsm_job_openings&#038;p=335323"},"modified":"2026-08-06T11:53:22","modified_gmt":"2026-08-06T04:53:22","slug":"superintendent-contract-procurement-mpde-2608022","status":"publish","type":"awsm_job_openings","link":"https:\/\/agincourtresources.com\/id\/jobs\/superintendent-contract-procurement-mpde-2608022\/","title":{"rendered":"SUPERINTENDENT &#8211; CONTRACT &amp; PROCUREMENT (MPDE 2608022)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>This position is located at the Martabe Site within the MPDE Department and reports directly to the Manager &#8211; Contract &amp; Procurement.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Superintendent \u2013 Contract &amp; Procurement is responsible for:<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prepare, monitor, and administer contracts while ensuring compliance with contractual terms and applicable regulations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct supplier prequalification and prepare tender documentation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform commercial evaluations of tenders and prepare tender evaluation reports and summaries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage tender clarifications and provide recommendations for contract awards, contract execution, and contract amendments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Administer contracts through to practical completion and final close-out.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop Procurement Plans, define project scope, procurement strategies, and purchasing requirements for project-related equipment and materials.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure a consistent, integrated, and reliable approach to contract and procurement processes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare and present accurate, comprehensive, and timely reports.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Liaise with suppliers, equipment vendors, and construction contractors regarding project requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Establish and maintain systems for contract administration, reporting, cost control, contract variations, and stakeholder interactions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contribute to the development of Statements of Work (SOW), tender packages, tender evaluations, and project management tools to ensure the Company&#8217;s financial and legal interests are protected while achieving optimal value for project expenditures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contribute to project reporting, including contractor progress, risks and opportunities, scope changes, and potential contract variations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This role encompasses all contract and procurement activities related to the Martabe Project, covering a wide range of scopes, complexities, values, and risk profiles. Regardless of size or complexity, every contract contributes to the successful operation of the Martabe Gold Mine.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Uphold PTAR&#8217;s ethical standards by demonstrating a strong commitment to the Company&#8217;s Code of Conduct, Code of Ethics, confidentiality, and corporate values.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Candidates for this position are expected to meet the following qualifications and criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in business, Law, Engineering, or a related discipline. A master\u2019s degree in business, Law, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Certified in POP (First-Line Operational Supervisor).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Professional certification in Procurement and Contract Management, with expertise in contract law, contract drafting, and legal compliance, is preferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum of 12 years of experience in Contract Administration within the mining, mineral processing, or heavy industry sectors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong understanding of the Indonesian business environment, legal and regulatory frameworks, corporate law, contract law, labour regulations, taxation, import regulations, and mining and energy legislation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven experience in contract drafting, including technical specifications, Statements of Work (SOW), and commercial terms and conditions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven expertise in Contract Management, including the effective management of contractors and ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in supplier prequalification and the preparation of tender documentation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in managing high-value service contracts and preparing complex contract documentation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrated ability to conduct commercial evaluations of tenders and prepare tender evaluation reports and summaries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent communication, leadership, influencing, and negotiation skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong planning, organisational, and execution skills, with the ability to consistently deliver high-quality work within required timeframes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong work ethic, with the ability to communicate effectively across all organisational levels while demonstrating respect for diverse cultures and stakeholders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Previous experience working in a multinational organisation or collaborating with expatriate personnel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Previous experience in mining project construction.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good working knowledge of ERP systems, particularly PRONTO ERP.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This position is located at the Martabe Site within the MPDE Department and reports directly to the Manager &#8211; Contract &amp; Procurement.
