BUSINESS ANALYST – INFORMATION SYSTEMS (IT 2410044)

This position will be based at Martabe Site in the IT & Systems Department and will report directly to the Superintendent – Information Systems.

The Business Analyst – Information Systems will be responsible for translating business requirements into actionable solutions, engaging with stakeholders and third-party vendors, and managing project documentation.

Business Analyst must have in-dept skill on analytical, documentation, verbal communication, Microsoft software, database, and IT infrastructure environment concept. Data mining and coding experience would be a plus.

Candidates for this position are expected to meet the following qualifications and criteria:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Information Technology, or Computer Science.
  2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Analysis or IT Project Management.
  3. Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  4. Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  5. Excellent documentation, writing, and verbal communication skills.
  6. Effective problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
  7. Solid stakeholder management capabilities.
  8. Proficient in process modelling and tools such as Flowchart, DFD, UML, etc.
  9. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, etc.).
  10. Proficient in data modelling and analysis using SQL and NoSQL schemas.
  11. Understanding of UI/UX concepts and implementation.
  12. Knowledge of MVC and SPA architecture in system development.
  13. Familiarity with IT infrastructure concepts and implementation.
  14. Understanding of the Microsoft environment (On-Premise, Cloud, Hybrid).
  15. Interest in and understanding of project management techniques.
