This position is based at the Martabe Site in Martabe Project Development Department, and reports directly to the Senior Project Controller.

The Role of the Engineer – TMF Progress Control is responsible to control and monitor project total expenditure including verifying and checking invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded. Including assisting the Senior Manager/Manager to undertake the breakdown of variation orders (VOs), supporting, and leading the negotiation of proposals, provide comprehensive costing reports in Pronto. Provide planning and cost-controlling support for all projects which includes variation reporting, monitoring of milestone progress preparation of customer billing processes, etc. This position will be back-to-back with Senior Project Controller.


  • Degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Project Management or Cost Control related training.
  • Desirable as membership of the Engineers Association.
  • Desirable has POP Certification.
  • Minimum has 5 years of relevant and similar capacity in project estimating and cost control.
  • Minimum has 5 years of experience in the construction field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and meticulousness.
  • Mature, proactive, resourceful, and hands-on with good initiative. 
  • Independent worker who is able to work well with minimal supervision. 
  • Appreciate deadline and work target.
  • Desirable as a good communicator and proactive in safety.
