Agincourt Resources, in collaboration with the Population Control and Family Planning Office (PPKB) of South Tapanuli Regency, and Family Planning Field Officers (PLKB) from the Batang Toru and Muara Batang Toru Districts, has successfully inducted 180 Youth counselor for the GenRe (Generasi Berencana) program and inaugurated the Youth Information and Counseling Centers (PIK) from 15 junior and senior high schools. This event took place at Sopo Daganak on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.
The induction of the GenRe Youth is the culmination of a series of programs aimed at equipping young people with the knowledge and skills to make wise life decisions. The newly inducted counselor are expected to serve as role models for their peers and actively promote positive information on reproductive health, early marriage prevention, and drug abuse.

Ahmad Ibrahim Lubis, Head of the South Tapanuli PPKB Office, emphasized the importance of the program in shaping the character of the youth.
“Through the GenRe program, we aim to cultivate a generation that is strong in character, dignifed, and capable of facing future challenges.”

In addition to the induction of the GenRe counselor, the event also marked the inauguration of Youth Information and Counseling Centers (PIK) in 15 schools. These centers serve as a source of accurate and up-to-date information on reproductive health, as well as a place for teenagers to seek counseling on the issues they face.

With the induction of the GenRe counselor and the inauguration of the PIK centers, it is hoped that a generation of healthy, intelligent, and strong-willed young people will emerge. The collaboration between Agincourt Resources, the PPKB Office, and the youth is expected to contribute positively to the development of South Tapanuli Regency.
Prior to this, Agincourt Resources, in collaboration with the Tapanuli Selatan District Population Control and Family Planning Agency (PPKB), the North Sumatra GenRe Forum, and the National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) South Tapanuli Regency, conducted a workshop and seminar on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. The event was attended by 45 Family Planning Field Officers (PLKB) from Tapanuli Selatan District and aimed to ensure that each sub-district had a GenRe program. The event was held at the Natama Hotel in Padang Sidempuan.
