Agincourt Resources facilitated a study tour for 10 Millennial Farmer Actors to Bali, specifically to Goblek Village, Banjar District, from December 18 to 20, 2024. The primary objective of this initiative was to introduce young farmers from South Tapanuli to modern and sustainable farming practices successfully implemented by the Bali Cool Young Farmers Community.
Over the course of three days, participants had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of agricultural cultivation, including organic horticulture farming, smart greenhouse management, and the processing and marketing of agricultural products. One of the highlights was a visit to a strawberry farm and a workshop on agricultural product processing.

Yandi Krisna, Superintendent of Local Economic Development at Agincourt Resources, expressed his hopes that participants would become agents of change in their respective regions. “We hope these Millennial Farmer Actors will bring the knowledge and experiences gained in Bali back to South Tapanuli. They will serve as inspiring figures for other farmers,” he stated.
AA Gede Agung Wedhatama, Chairman of the Bali Young Farmers Forum under the Independent Agricultural and Rural Training Center (P4S) Cool Young Farmers, emphasized the importance of innovation and technological adaptation in agriculture. “Farmers must continue to learn and adapt to the times. By forming farmer groups like P4S, farmers can share knowledge and experiences with each other,” he explained.

One of the participants, Heri Sholat Sihombing, expressed his enthusiasm for the program. “I am very grateful to Agincourt Resources for providing this opportunity. I learned many new things during my time in Bali, especially about the importance of managing agriculture in a modern and sustainable way,” he said.
