Athletes from the Jaya Atletik Batang Toru Club, sponsored by Agincourt Resources, achieved remarkable results at the Bumi Kaldera Run 2024 held on Sunday, December 29, 2024. The running event, organized by the Budi Mulia Pematangsiantar Alumni Association and the Simalungun District Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimcam), attracted approximately 1,200 runners from various regions.
Six athletes sponsored by Agincourt Resources participated in two categories: 10 km and 5 km. Wildasani Mendrofa secured second place in the 5 km category, while Lusiyana Mendrofa and Muhammad Fajar Rizky finished fourth and sixth, respectively, in the 10 km category. Jupiter Andika Pratama Laia, Melfina Lase, and Join Efendi also demonstrated impressive performances in the 5 km category.
Agincourt Resources Community Relations Manager, Masdar Muda, expressed his pride in the young athletes’ achievements. “This achievement is proof of the spirit and hard work of the youth of Tapanuli Selatan. We hope that this accomplishment will inspire other young generations to continue to work hard and achieve their dreams,” he said.

The second-place winner in the 5 km category, Widasani Mendrofa, expressed her gratitude to Agincourt Resources for their support. “I am very grateful and thankful to my parents, coach, and Agincourt Resources for supporting me from the beginning of my training until this competition,” she said.
Negro Pelita Nasution, the coach of the Jaya Atletik Batang Toru Club, was also proud of his athletes’ achievements. He revealed, “Agincourt Resources has been supporting us since 2017, and during that time, we have achieved many successes thanks to their support. Some of our sponsored children have even successfully represented the province in national events.” Negro added that Jupiter Andika Pratama Laia, one of the athletes sponsored by Agincourt Resources, previously won a gold medal at the 2024 National Sports Week, while Widasani Mendrofa is now a sponsored athlete at the North Sumatra Province Youth Education and Training Center (PPLP).
