Agincourt Resources evaluated of the focused class program and focused learning at two schools in South Tapanuli, namely State Senior High School (SMA) 1 Batang Toru and State Islamic Junior High School (MTsN) 3 South Tapanuli on February 4-5, 2025. This activity involved 142 students, consisting of ninth-grade Junior High School (SMP) students and twelfth-grade Senior High School (SMA) students. The total number of Teaching and Learning Activities (KBM) included 80 sessions for ninth-grade Junior High School students and 110 sessions for tenth to twelfth-grade Senior High School students.
The evaluation was conducted in collaboration with Amril Siagian, the Head of Sony Sugema College (SSC) North Sumatra, and Dani Matondang, the Head of SSC Padangsidimpuan Branch. The primary purpose of this activity was to provide progress reports on each student’s academic development, inform the progress of student attendance in the focused learning sessions, and strengthen parental involvement in supporting their children’s academic development. Additionally, this program aimed to motivate students to be more diligent in their studies and enhance their academic performance.

This program targeted students from several schools in the Tapanuli Selatan region, including MTsN 3 Tapanuli Selatan, MTs Swasta Nurul Huda Hutaraja, and various junior high and senior high schools in Batang Toru and surrounding areas. The focused learning program was intended for grade IX and XII students, while the focused class program was for grades X and XI. One of the accompanying teachers from SMP Negeri 1 Batang Toru, Hartini Harahap, expressed her gratitude to Agincourt Resources for their support, as this program is the only one available in Batang Toru and Muara Batang Toru. She also encouraged students and parents to make the most of this opportunity to support students’ academic progress.
Through this program, it is hoped that students in Tapanuli Selatan will receive better education, with full support from parents, teachers, and various related parties, enabling them to achieve their best potential.
