The true strength of an emergency response team is not only proven during real incidents, but also when its competence is tested in a professional arena. The Sahala Emergency Response Team (ERT) of Agincourt Resources demonstrated this readiness by winning first place in the Fitness Drill category and third place in the Vehicle Accident Rescue category at the Indonesia Rescue Summit 2025, held from 15th October to 15th November 2025 at Bumi Perkemahan dan Graha Wisata Pramuka (Buperta), Cibubur, Bogor.

The event was officially opened by the Deputy for Disaster Management at the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture (Kemenko PMK), Lilik Kurniawan, accompanied by Assistant Deputy for Disaster Response, Merry Efriana. Also in attendance were key representatives from PT Astra International Tbk, Boy Kelana Subroto, Chief Corporate Affairs, Selly Irfandy, Division Head Corporate Security, and Herdiawan Sutikno, Department Head Strategic Operational.

In the Fitness Drill category, ERT Sahala recorded a time of 6 minutes 46 seconds, the fastest among 24 participating teams. This achievement reflects a combination of physical strength, technical precision, disciplined coordination, and calm execution under simulated emergency pressure.

In the Vehicle Accident Rescue category, the team secured third place after completing the rescue scenario in 7 minutes 42 seconds, thanks to accurate decision-making, effective communication, and mastery of rescue procedures.

This accomplishment is more than just a competition win, it represents real-world readiness to respond to emergencies in a high-risk mining environment. Regular physical training, technical drills, and mental resilience development form the core of ERT Sahala’s preparedness.  At every stage of operations, human safety remains the highest priority. ERT Sahala serves not only as a standby emergency unit, but as a guardian of safety and the continuity of Martabe Gold Mine operations.
