On Saturday, December 21, 2024, Agincourt Resources provided assistance to 495 families affected by flash floods in Tano Tombangan Angkola District. The flash floods, which occurred on December 18, 2024, were triggered by heavy rainfall. This disaster caused severe damage in Kota Tua and Simaninggir villages.
The aid distributed by Agincourt Resources included food and non-food items such as rice, cooking oil, eggs, bottled water, towels, and sarongs. Masdar Muda, Manager of Community Relations at Agincourt Resources, emphasized that this initiative reflects the Company’s commitment to supporting the surrounding community during challenging times caused by natural disasters. “We hope this assistance can alleviate the burdens faced by our fellow citizens in need. Agincourt Resources is dedicated to being present for the community, especially during times of hardship. We also extend our gratitude to everyone who collaborated in the distribution of this aid,” he stated.

In addition to distributing aid, Agincourt Resources actively participated in post-disaster recovery efforts. The company’s Emergency Response Team (ERT) collaborated with personnel from the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), the Tapanuli Selatan Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), and local residents to conduct post-flood cleanup operations. These activities included clearing debris from residents’ homes, public facilities, and places of worship impacted by materials carried by the floods.
