Empowerment Pillars, Sustainable Footprints: Agincourt Resources Enhances Capacity Through ISO 26000 Training

Agincourt Resources conducted an in-house ISO 26000 training for all staff members of the Community Relations and Development (CRD) Department on Saturday and Sunday, 14–15 June 2025, at the Recreation Hall of the Martabe Gold Mine. The primary objective of this activity was to strengthen staff understanding and skills in designing, implementing, and managing Agincourt Resources’ Community Development and Empowerment Programs (PPM) based on the principles of social responsibility and sustainability.

The two-day training featured facilitators from Shared Value Indonesia, Al Mujizat and Azzahra Fathurrahma, who delivered the materials in an interactive and practical manner. Utilizing an andragogical approach, the training encouraged participants to actively engage in discussions, analyze case studies, and deliver group presentations. This adult-learning-focused method enabled participants to grasp the contextual application of social responsibility principles in alignment with the operational challenges of mining areas. All training content was tailored to support CRD staff in becoming professional community facilitators who are adaptive to evolving sustainability policies. 

The ISO 26000 training also represents a concrete step by the Company in fostering a responsible work culture centered on shared value between the company and the community. With enhanced internal capacity through this training, the implementation of Agincourt Resources’ PPM programs is expected to become more effective and far-reaching, particularly in addressing community needs in a holistic and sustainable manner.
