Winning 7 EPSA Awards, A Testament to Protecting the Earth

Agincourt Resources marked an outstanding achievement by securing seven awards at the Eco-Tech Pioneer and Sustainability Award (EPSA) 2025, hosted by Diponegoro University in Semarang on 31st August 2025. Two of these were Gold Awards, including the Eco-Hazard Innovation category for the treatment of 155.25 tonnes of used lubricating oil through hypobaric fraction separator technology. This innovation successfully reduced the Global Warming Potential by as much as 441,975.09 tonnes of CO2e.

Rahmat Lubis, General Manager Operations & Deputy Director Operations of Agincourt Resources, stated, “The EPSA Award is a recognition of our consistency in supporting the net-zero emission target. We will continue to drive environmental innovation in line with government regulations and the Sustainable Development Goals,” he remarked.

In addition, the programme Closed-Loop Energy Reclamation with Intelligent Torque Control (ITC) also earned a Gold Award, having reduced electricity consumption by 4,931 GJ and saved IDR 1.69 billion in energy costs. Three Silver Awards were achieved through initiatives in managing waste from Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers (FIBC), reducing water pollution load with a selective chelator, and redesigning the haul road in Pit Ramba Joring. Meanwhile, two Bronze Awards were granted for the Galeri Bagas Silua enterprise development programme and the conservation of the endemic Jurung fish.

These accomplishments further reinforce Agincourt Resources’ role as a mining operator committed to sustainable practices and the circular economy, while also inspiring cross-sector collaboration in safeguarding the earth.
