GRADUATE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM – MAINTENANCE (GDP – MNT02)

This position will be based at the Martabe Site within the Processing (Maintenance) Department, with direct reporting to the Coordinator – Mechanical Maintenance. 

The Graduate Development Program –Maintenance (MNT02) is a position created for Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering graduates starting from fresh graduates with 0-2 years of work experience, who will be educated and trained in a special development program to be ready to become a Engineer – Mechanical Maintenance. GDP Mechanical Maintenance will be guided by a Superintendent – Mechanical Maintenance and Senior Engineer – Mechanical during the Graduate Development Program (GDP) development program. GDP Maintenance will focus on learning and developing to be able to understand and implement the methodology for maintaining mineral processing plants and supporting equipment in the mechanical field to achieve production targets, plant operations and key performance indicator (KPI) targets in the plant maintenance and care section in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with technical standards, policies and legislation as well as occupational safety standards 

Applicants for this position are required to fulfill the following qualifications and criteria: 

  1. Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. 
  1. Have 0-2 years of experience in a mechanical engineering function in a mining, oil and gas, or heavy equipment industry environment. 
  1. Ability to interpret basic technical/mechanical drawings and prepare reports and maintain accurate records. 
  1. Adequate verbal and written communication skills in English. 
  1. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the Internet. 
  1. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. 
  1. High attention to standards and detail. 
  1. Highly motivated and proactive with a positive attitude.
