Agincourt Resources’ commitment to supporting human capital development in Indonesia’s mining sector has once again been recognised. At the 2026 Mining Human Resources (HR) Forum, organised by the Bandung Polytechnic of Energy and Mining (PEPB) on 9 July 2026 at the Directorate General of Mineral and Coal in Jakarta, Agincourt Resources received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR) and PEPB in recognition of its contribution as a vocational education partner.
The award acknowledges Agincourt Resources’ role in providing internship opportunities and recruiting PEPB graduates. This contribution has helped enhance students’ competencies while strengthening the connection between vocational education and industry, ensuring graduates are better prepared to enter the workforce.
The award was presented during the 2026 Mining Human Resources (HR) Forum, held under the theme Link and Match Campus–Industry: Competent, Work-Ready, PEPB Can!. The forum served as a platform for collaboration between vocational education institutions and stakeholders in the mining industry to align workforce requirements with graduates’ competencies.
The event was attended by the Head of the Human Resources Development Agency of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (BPSDM MEMR), Prahoro Yulianto Nurtjahyo, PhD, the Director General of Mineral and Coal, Dr Ing Tri Winarno, S.T., M.T., as well as approximately 80 representatives from mineral and coal mining companies, mineral processing and refining companies, and mining services companies. Agincourt Resources participated as one of the industry’s partners committed to supporting the advancement of vocational education in Indonesia.
During the forum, PEPB introduced its prospective graduates—who have completed competency-based training and obtained professional certifications—to industry representatives, while further strengthening collaboration between academia and industry. PEPB also shared updates on the development of its new campus in the Pasteur area of Bandung as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of vocational education in the energy and mining sectors.
As a vocational higher education institution under the Human Resources Development Agency of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (BPSDM MEMR), PEPB offers three-year diploma (Diploma III) programmes in Geological Technology, Mining Technology, and Metallurgical Technology. Ahead of the graduation of its fifth cohort in 2026, PEPB continues to strengthen partnerships with industry to ensure its graduates possess competencies that meet evolving industry needs.
Through sustained collaboration between educational institutions and industry, Agincourt Resources hopes to contribute to the development of more highly skilled professionals who are ready to support the continued advancement of Indonesia’s mining sector.
