Effective communication goes beyond delivering information, it creates meaningful impact and drives positive change. This commitment earned Agincourt Resources the Gold Winner award in the Best Sustainability Press Release category at the 2026 Media Relations Awards, organised by the Indonesian Press Companies Association (SPS). The award recognised the Company’s press release, “A Legacy of Sustainability Since 2011: Martabe Cataract Surgery Programme Returns in 2025,” which highlights Agincourt Resources’ long-standing commitment to improving access to eye care through the Martabe Gold Mine Free Cataract Surgery Programme.
The award-winning article showcases how the programme has continued to deliver tangible benefits to communities since its launch in 2011. In 2025, the initiative resumed with a target of providing cataract surgery for 1,400 eyes across five locations in North Sumatra, reflecting the Company’s ongoing commitment to expanding access to quality eye care, particularly for underserved communities. By the end of 2024, the programme had benefited 10,684 patients, with 12,173 cataract surgeries successfully performed, making it one of the Company’s flagship sustainability initiatives with a lasting social impact.
This award serves as recognition of Agincourt Resources’ ability to deliver communication that is not only informative, but also able to convey the values of sustainability through real stories that are close to the community. Through this approach, the company continues to strengthen its reputation as a mining company that prioritises transparency, care and sustainability in every contribution it makes to the community.
