This position is based at the Martabe Site within the MPDSE Department and will report to an experienced engineer or metallurgist. The role will focus on one of two available positions: Mine Planning or Metallurgical Investigation.
The Graduate Development Program – MPDSE offers direct exposure to various project scopes, including study, planning, and execution phases. The selected individual will assist engineers in completing studies and executing approved development projects.
Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications, experience and attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil, Mining, Geological Engineering, or Metallurgy (Master’s degree is an advantage).
- Basic understanding of project management, heavy equipment management, and earthwork quality control.
- Familiarity with the principles of design/planning, project execution, and supervision.
- Prior experience in organizational roles.
- Proficiency in English (listening, speaking, writing).
- Desirable: Basic understanding of S-curve development.
