GRADUATE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM – IT & SYSTEMS (GDP – ITS)

This position will be based at the Martabe Gold Mine Site within the IT & Systems Department, with direct reporting to the Engineer – Development & Operations. 

The Graduate Development Program – IT & Systems participate as a development pathway for young talent prepared to support the transformation and management of information technology within the organization. This position serves as a foundation for learning and skills in systems, applications, data, and project management, infrastructure, security, and IoT support, while also building analytical, collaborative, and leadership competencies. Program participants are expected to adapt to business and technology dynamics and develop into IT professionals who contribute to the organization’s future strategic aspirations. 

Applicants for this position are required to fulfill the following qualifications and criteria: 

  1. Bachelor’s/Diploma 4 graduate majoring in Informatics Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a similar major related to IT & Systems. 
  1. Minimum GPA of 3.0. GPA above 3.25 is strongly preferred. 
  1. Fresh graduates or a maximum of 1 year of work/internship experience in IT, systems, data, or IoT. 
  1. Previous involvement in project activities (internships, campus organizations, project assignments).  
  1. 1–2 years of experience (including internships/campus projects) in systems development, business analysis, cloud infrastructure, system security, or IT support is strongly preferred. 
  1. Previous interaction with vendors/clients or experience working on a project team is strongly preferred. 
  1. Knowledge of SDLC, databases (SQL), and programming fundamentals (Python/C#). 
  1. Basic understanding of the Microsoft 365 environment 
  1. Familiarity with project management concepts (milestones, tasks, risks). 
  1. Knowledge of APIs and system integration, workflow systems, and IT infrastructure, both on-premises and cloud. 
  1. Experience or training related to the Microsoft Cloud Environment, Business Intelligence (Power BI), and Automate (Microsoft Flow). 
  1. Entry-level certification (e.g., Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900)) is preferred. 
  1. Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, information security, and IoT.
