JUNIOR SUPERVISOR – PROJECT DEVELOPMENT (MPDSE 2412056)

This position is located at the Martabe Site within the MPDSE Department and reports directly to the Senior Supervisor – Project Development.

The role of Junior Supervisor – Project Development is to:
1. Support and ensure the achievement of short-term project construction targets, focusing on cost efficiency and execution stages alongside the Development Execution team.
2. Coordinate and communicate with teams within the MPDSE section and other PTAR departments on job or material requirements.
3. Collaborate with contractors to ensure work is executed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with standards.
4. Lead the team in implementing additional tasks for safety and environmental protection in the earthwork area.

Candidates for this position are expected to meet the following qualifications and criteria:
1. Minimum of a Senior High School diploma; a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is preferred.
2. At least 5 years of experience in the mining industry.
3. Proficient in civil earthworks, road, and dam construction.
4. Skilled in the installation of silt fences, geomembranes, HDPE pipes, culvert boxes, and gabions.
5. Knowledgeable in project water control and pumping capacity.
6. Strong supervisory skills with the ability to control and evaluate construction crews effectively.
7. Excellent communication skills to interact with superiors, peers, and subordinates.
8. Demonstrated commitment to safety practices.
9. Capable of handling personnel issues and employing strategic planning to achieve high-quality results.
