This position will be located at the Jakarta Office in the Government Relations Department and will report directly to the Superintendent Permitting & Compliances (Technical).
The Senior Supervisor – Permitting & Compliance (Technical) will support the Government Relations and Permitting Department, working closely with the Superintendent to manage permitting processes and compliance matters. This role focuses on ensuring all permitting requirements and obligations are met across various stages of mining operations, construction, project development, and environmental compliance. The Senior Supervisor will ensure that Martabe’s operations run smoothly and comply with relevant laws and regulations.
Key responsibilities include researching, reviewing, and preparing permitting documentation, coordinating with field personnel, and generating required reports. The incumbent will actively track the progress of permits at all government levels to meet company timelines. Additionally, this role requires representing the company in meetings with both local and central government authorities and fostering strong, effective relationships with government stakeholders.
Applicants for this position are expected to meet the following qualifications and criteria:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering.
2. A minimum of 10 years of experience in the mining industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of the engineering, technical aspects, and permitting procedures related to mining operations.
4. Familiarity with government regulations and compliance requirements.
5. Excellent communication and report-writing skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
6. Strong physical health, professional demeanor, and a friendly, effective personality.
7. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
8. Open-minded, proactive, and efficient in processing permitting matters.
9. Willingness to travel as required, including during weekends or holidays.
