This position will be based at the Martabe Gold Mine Site within the Exploration Department and will report directly to the Geologist – Exploration.
The Supervisor Technical Assistant Exploration plays a key role in supporting Geologists in planning, executing, and managing geological fieldwork within the Martabe Area of Interest (AoI) as well as regional exploration projects. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring exploration programs are delivered on schedule, to a high professional standard, and in compliance with company procedures.
Additionally, this role will be accountable for training field supervisors and field assistants in effective field execution to ensure exploration programs are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
Applicants for this position are required to fulfill the following qualifications and criteria:
- Minimum Diploma in Engineering, Science, or a relevant discipline.
- 5–7 years of experience in Exploration as a Technical Assistant.
- Strong knowledge of the Mine Safety Act and Regulations.
- Holder of an Operational Supervisory Level 1 certificate (Pengawas Operasional Pertama).
- TOT certification with the ability to deliver training packages (preferred).
- Demonstrated awareness of operational safety and training issues, with an excellent safety and training record.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, and Project).
- Solid understanding of supervisory styles and techniques, with proven ability to enhance team performance.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and contribute to a positive team environment.
- High levels of enthusiasm, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently while achieving objectives.
- Knowledge of incident investigation practices, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
- Experience in designing, developing, and delivering safety and training programs in both Indonesian and English.
- Strong managerial, supervisory, and presentation skills.
- Basic proficiency in MapInfo or other geological software.
