Agincourt Resources RIPPM Program Successfully Restored the Status of Malnourished Children

Maternal and child health is one of the focuses of the Community Empowerment Program (PPM) of PT Agincourt Resources (PTAR) through the Community Development Department. On Tuesday, 3 January 2023, PTAR conducted a handover for the Completion of the Recovery Program for Malnourished Children to Good (normal) which was carried out at the Batangtoru Health Center and Muara Batangtoru Health Center. 

In a program that lasts for 5 months, starting on August 9, 2022 and end on December 21, 2022, PTAR provides assistance in the form of health checks, namely blood tests, X-rays, and stool examinations in the laboratory of Metta Medika Padangsidimpuan Hospital. In addition, PTAR also supplies formula milk as additional nutrition, according to the advice of a Pediatrician who monitors this program regularly, once every two weeks. 

Three patients receive this benefit, Nurdia Sihombing from Padang Lancat Sisoma Village aged 1 year and 8 months, Afifah Zahra from Hutaraja Village aged 4 years and 6 months, and Salsa Sabilah from Muara Manompas Village is aged 2 years and 3 months. The three patients were released after the Pediatrician stated that the three patients were in good nutritional condition. They also received a certificate as an award after successfully participating in the Malnutrition Recovery Program.
