On Friday, September 29, 2023, at Sopo Daganak, Napa Village, Batangtoru Sub-District, PT Agincourt Resources (PTAR) inaugurated 150 Remaja Sehat counselors for the 2023–2024 period and 15 pairs GENRE (Generasi Berencana) Schools from 15 junior and high schools in Batangtoru Sub-District and Muara Batangtoru Sub-District.
This inauguration event was attended by the South Tapanuli Health Service, South Tapanuli Regency PPKB Service, South Tapanuli Regency PPPA Service, Head of UPT Batangtoru Community Health Center, Head of UPT Muara Batangtoru Community Health Center, Head of Batangtoru Sub-District, Head of Muara Batangtoru Sub-District, as well as Chair of the Batangtoru and Muara Batangtoru Sub-Districts TPKK.
Remaja Sehat is one of PTAR’s commitments in the health sector as stated in its Community Development and Empowerment (PPM) program. Meanwhile, the GENRE Program is a government program under the auspices of the Population Control and Family Planning (PP&KB) Service. In the long term, these two programs aim to create a Golden Generation that is as highly educated as possible with competitive jobs, a healthy lifestyle, planned marriages, and active in the community.
On this occasion, PTAR also donated supporting items needed to optimize Remaja Sehat activities at school, including basic first aid kit (consisting of 21 items), including body scales, a height measuring device, two folding patient stretchers, 2 x 3 rug, closed trash cans, etc.
