To enhance the effectiveness of biodiversity management at the Martabe Gold Mine, Agincourt Resources organized the Biodiversity Workshop for the end of the year 2023, held from December 12 to 14, 2023, at RecHall. This workshop aimed to ensure that diverse plans would strike a harmonious balance between environmental stewardship and economically viable mining operations.
This workshop involves many biodiversity experts, such as from The Biodiversity Consultancy Ltd (TBC), Yayasan Tangguh Hutan Khatulistiwa (TaHuKah), Sumatran Orangutan Society (SOS), Yayasan Scorpion, Yayasan Ekosistem Lestari (YEL), and others. Senior Advisor Biodiversity Dr. Ir. Wiratno M. Sc. was also present, along with members of the Biodiversity Advisory Panel (BAP), namely Dr. Rondang S.E Siregar, Dr. Sri Suci Utami Atmoko, Dr. Onrizal, Dr. Puji Rianti, and research partner from IPB University, Prof. Dr. Nampiah Sukarno.

The workshop drew 46 in-person participants and 3 online participants, with key figures such as President Director Muliady Sutio, Vice President Director Ruli Tanio, Director Noviandri, Director of External Relations Sanny Tjan, General Manager Operations Rahmat Lubis, Deputy General Manager Operations Wira Dharma Putra, and Agincourt Resources’ management team.
