Successful Intervention in Malnutrition Recovery Restores the Health of 22 Toddlers

Addressing malnutrition among toddlers in Tapanuli Selatan, particularly in the subdistricts of Batangtoru and Muara Batangtoru, is a key focus of the Community Development and Empowerment (PPM) program in the health sector by Agincourt Resources. Achievement after achievement has been realized. This time, 22 toddlers who have undergone nutritional support and intervention from June to December 2023 have been declared healthy. On Monday, January 8, 2024, a ceremony to mark the completion of the Toddler Nutrition Intervention Recovery was conducted, where appreciation in the form of certificates was awarded to the toddlers and 10 mentoring cadres for successfully completing the program. 

Not only that, to continuously improve the quality of health services, Agincourt Resources also facilitated the Final Competency Assessment and Strata Posyandu Mengimbas in seven villages, namely Padang Lancat Sisoma Village, Sisipa Village, Sipenggeng Village, Wek IV Village, Muara Hutaraja Village, Hutaraja Subdistrict, and Pardamean Village. This assessment took place from January 6-8, 2024, to measure the improvement in the knowledge of cadres related to the implementation of health services by Posyandu and to reevaluate the strata of Posyandu post-training. The event was attended by 35 Posyandu Mengimbas cadres.

The overall program is a collaboration between Agincourt Resources and the Tapanuli Selatan Regional Health Office, Batangtoru Community Health Center, Hutaraja Community Health Center, and CV Sinergy Medika Indonesia.
