Agincourt Resources and Yayasan Nuansa Alam Share Waste Management Knowledge and Collaborate for Sustainability

On May 13-14, 2024, Agincourt Resources welcomed a visit from Yayasan Nuansa Alam, a non-profit organization with a waste management program called Bank Sampah Induk New Normal. This bank has been operating for four years and has made a positive impact on waste management at both the national and regional levels.

During the visit, participants had the opportunity to get to know the mining operations more closely and gain a deeper understanding of waste management and cooperative management from Bank Sampah Induk New Normal Medan. They also visited the Waste Sortation Facility (WSF) to see firsthand effective waste management practices. 

The visit continued to a local bank in Batangtoru affiliated with the Koperasi Imajinasi Cerdas Berkarya (KICB), namely Bank Sampah Nasopo Hamubaon, and to Koperasi Sarop Do Mulana. Through this knowledge exchange, it is hoped that KICB and Koperasi Sarop Do Mulana can optimally develop waste management based on the economy and the community.
