A total of 10 tailors trained by Agincourt Resources, consisting of five members of the Hutaraja Sewing Group, four members of the Batuhula Sewing Group, and one member of the Joint Business Group (KUB) Bator Craft, took a Level III Fashion Competency Test for three days, from May 31-June 2, 2024 at the Nia Padangsidempuan Training and Education Center (LKP) which is also a Competency Test Center (TUK).

On the first day, the participants took a theoretical exam which was conducted online. On the second day, there was a practical exam to make women’s work uniforms by involving models provided by TUK Nia. Meanwhile, on the third day, all the models performed a fashion show of the clothes sewn by the participants, which were then judged by two assessors from the Central Competency Certification Body (LSK).

Community Development Manager of Agincourt Resources, Rohani Simbolon, said that this activity is a form of the Company’s commitment to developing the capacity of the community in the surrounding mining area. By taking this competency test, it is hoped that new professional tailors will be born, which can support the growth of the economy in the surrounding community.
