Agincourt Resources demonstrated its commitment to supporting adolescent education about the dangers of sexual violence by participating in the Generasi Berencana (GenRe) North Sumatra Art Exhibition. The company provided financial support to the North Sumatra GenRe Forum and sponsored two pairs of GenRe school representatives from Batang Toru District to attend the event. The exhibition, which took place on July 13 and 19, 2024 at Dimigo Cafe and Grand Ballroom Four Points by Sheraton Medan, was attended by 580 participants and featured 316 artworks that raised the issue of sexual violence.
This event marked the first time GenRe North Sumatra has organized such an exhibition, driven by the increasing prevalence of sexual violence among adolescents. The art exhibition provided a platform for adolescents to express themselves and raise awareness about the dangers of sexual violence. The artworks on display reflected a variety of perspectives and experiences of adolescents related to this issue, and encouraged open dialogue and discussion among them.
