Agincourt Resources Wins 7 Honors at 2024 Eco Tech Pioneer and Sustainability Awards, Demonstrating Commitment to Sustainability

Agincourt Resources is proud to announce its success in securing seven prestigious awards at the 2024 Eco Tech Pioneer and Sustainability Award (EPSA), hosted by the Environmental Engineering Department of Diponegoro University on Saturday, August 31, 2024, in Semarang. EPSA 2024 recognizes companies with a strong commitment to creating technological innovations that preserve environmental stability and sustainability. The seven awards were accepted by Senior Manager of Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Hari Ananto and Senior Manager of Community Christine Pepah. 

Gold Awards 

  • Eco-Hazard Innovation: Reduction of Cyanide Packaging Plastic in the Martabe Gold Mine Processing Plant 
  • Hydro Smart Innovation: Addition of Robust Centrifugal Pump in the Oxygen Plant to Reduce Unmeasured Water Consumption 

 Silver Awards 

  • Community Development: Lubuk Larangan 
  • Eco-Cycle Innovation: Implementation of Wood Dust to Support Reclamation Activities 
  • Low Carbon Innovation: Gap Adjustment and Level Control in the Pebble Crusher to Reduce Vibrating Feeder Load 

Bronze Awards 

  • Ecosystem Protection: Isolation and Production of Arbuscular Mycorrhiza as Inoculum for Degraded Area Restoration 
  • Green Power Innovation: Implementation of Cavity Sensor Technology to Maintain Choke-feed Conditions in Ore Milling Processes 

Senior Manager of Community, Christine Pepah, expressed her pride in the Company’s recognition, especially in the Community Development category, which is a new addition to the awards. Agincourt Resources participated through its Lubuk Larangan conservation program. “This program is designed to protect the jurung fish, an endemic species with significant cultural value, while also strengthening partnerships with the community for environmental conservation beyond the mining areas,” said Christine Pepah.

On the same occasion, Agincourt Resources’ Senior Manager of Environment, Health & Safety, Hari Ananto, emphasized the Company’s commitment to generating innovative ideas in environmental and community management. “Since the start of our operations, we have been committed to implementing sustainable mining practices that positively impact the communities around our mine. We aim to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals through the application of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles,” he stated.
