Agincourt Resources has organized a training program to strengthen and develop Self-Supporting Rural and Agricultural Training Centers (P4S) for Millennial Farmer Actors (PAM) at the Syakirah The View Aeksabaon Meeting Hall. This 5-day program, held from Wednesday to Sunday, September 18-22, 2024, was attended by 30 selected millennial farmers.
The training featured competent speakers, including Rakhmad Hardiyanto, Founder of P4S Bumi Aji Sejahtera and PT Kreasi Tani Bumi Aji, and a team from the Jambi Agricultural Training Center (Bapeltan) consisting of Hidayat Nasution, Nugroho Setyowibowo, and Muhammad Taufiqur Rohman. Participants were invited to delve into various important topics such as community dynamics, effective communication, negotiation techniques, community branding, self-motivation, business development, and proposal writing.

Rohani Simbolon, Community Development Manager at Agincourt Resources, explained that the PAM program is part of the company’s efforts to empower the surrounding community. “Since 2023, we have initiated the discovery and development of PAM. Now, we are focusing on strengthening their capacities through the establishment of P4S. We hope that these P4S can become learning centers and create new job opportunities in Tapanuli Selatan,” she said.
Henry Hamdani, Head of the Tapanuli Selatan District Agriculture Department, expressed his appreciation for Agincourt Resources’ initiative. “We fully support this program. With the formation of the PAM institution, we hope to improve the welfare of farmers in our region. The local government is ready to provide full support for the success of this program,” Henry emphasized. One of the Millennial Farmer Actors, Muhaya Yuda Rambe, expressed, “Through this training, I have successfully improved my ability to create product branding, conduct business analysis, and communicate with potential buyers. In addition, I also understand the importance of a Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) for future business development. Thank you to Agincourt Resources for providing guidance to us, the millennial farmers, for the advancement of agriculture in Tapanuli Selatan,” he said.
