Safrizal, a red chili farmer from Dusun Bongal, expressed his gratitude to Agincourt Resources for the support provided. “Thank you to Agincourt Resources for the guidance and assistance. Thanks to their support, we were able to successfully cultivate red chilies and achieve a satisfying result. We hope that programs like this will continue and benefit more farmers in the future,” he said.

In July 2024, both farmer groups, supported by Agincourt Resources, initiated the cultivation of inflation-resistant crops, namely shallots and red chilies. These commodities were chosen due to their high market potential and stable demand. Onion Farmer Group Sipenggeng Village. successfully cultivated shallots on 0.7 hectares of land, while red chili farmers in Dusun Bongal collaborated with the Rsikon Millennial Farmer Actors of Batang Angkola District to cultivate red chilies on 0.5 hectares.

Through this cultivation program, a strong and sustainable supply chain for shallots and red chilies is expected to be established. This not only increases farmers’ incomes but also contributes to food security and opens broader market opportunities for local agricultural products.
