In an effort to increase agricultural productivity and quality in their region, Agincourt Resources, together with farmers in Batang Toru and Muara Batang Toru sub-districts, conducted a study tour to several agricultural locations in East Java. The six-day activity, which took place from Sunday to Friday, October 20-25, 2024, aimed to equip farmers with new knowledge and skills in agriculture.
This study tour took farmers to three different locations, each with a specific learning focus. The first location was the Self-Reliant Rural and Agricultural Training Center (P4S Tani Makmur) in Beji District, Pasuruan Regency. Here, farmers learned about shallots cultivation, food crops, the production of solid and liquid organic fertilizers, and the use of biological agents such as Trichoderma. Participants also had the opportunity to practice making organic fertilizer and multiplying Trichoderma.
