To raise awareness about the importance of traffic safety among students, Agincourt Resources once again held the Martabe Goes to School (MGTS) program at SMK Negeri 2 Batang Toru on Friday, December 20, 2024. This year, MGTS focused on the theme of “Traffic Safety” and invited experts from PT Indaco Trading Coy Honda Motorcycle Main Dealer North Sumatra as speakers.
Sofiyan Hazri, a Safety Riding Instructor from PT Indaco Trading Coy Honda Motorcycle Main Dealer North Sumatra, provided a detailed explanation of safe riding techniques, the importance of awareness of potential road hazards, and ways to anticipate and avoid accidents. The materials were delivered in an engaging and interactive manner, making them easy for participants to understand.

“Traffic accidents can be prevented if we all care and are willing to practice safe riding habits. I hope the material I presented today will serve as valuable knowledge for all of you to become disciplined and safe riders,” he stated.
Participants also had the opportunity to practice safe riding techniques directly on the field. Under the guidance of instructors from PT Indaco Trading Coy Honda Motorcycle Main Dealer North Sumatra, including Sofiyan Hazri and Wan Muhammad Syahreza, students were trained in emergency braking and maintaining safe distances from other vehicles.
Erikson, the Principal of SMK Negeri 2 Batang Toru, welcomed the MGTS program with enthusiasm. “We are very grateful to Agincourt Resources, PT Indaco Trading Coy Honda Motorcycle Main Dealer Noth Sumatra for providing our students with the opportunity to participate in this traffic safety training. The materials presented are highly beneficial and relevant to their daily lives,” he remarked.
