On Thursday, January 16, 2025, Agincourt Resources handed over production house assistance to six culinary entrepreneurs from the company’s community development program. This initiative is part of Agincourt Resources’ ongoing efforts to enhance the quality and competitiveness of SMEs in the surrounding areas of the mine.
The six culinary entrepreneurs receiving this support are Budi Widya Wati, Ery Susanti, Kusmini, Lisnawati, Nudihati Suriani, and the Umaku Soy Sauce Group. Previously, Agincourt Resources had supported the renovation or construction of production kitchens that comply with the cleanliness and sanitation standards set by the Tapanuli Selatan Health Department. This is crucial to ensuring that these home-based culinary businesses meet the necessary requirements for business permits, which involve direct verification on-site.

Since 2022, Agincourt Resources has provided similar support to 17 culinary entrepreneurs in the mining area. The assistance aims to help local SMEs operate more efficiently and safely, in compliance with the household food industry standards. With the newly provided production facilities, the entrepreneurs are expected to improve hygiene, sanitation, and product quality, which in turn will open up broader market opportunities.
One of the beneficiaries, Ery Susanti, expressed her gratitude to Agincourt Resources for supporting the development of her business. “There has been a lot of support provided, such as skill training, business equipment, and now even the construction of a production kitchen. I hope that in the future, my business can continue to grow and bring benefits to those around me.”
