In commemoration of National Waste Awareness Day (HPSN) 2025, Agincourt Resources organized the “Martabe Goes to School” event at SMP Negeri 1 Batang Toru and SMA Negeri 1 Batang Toru on Wednesday and Thursday, February 12-13, 2025. This event aimed to enhance awareness of waste issues in Indonesia and provide insights into Indonesia’s waste management plan with the target of Zero Waste 2050.
The event at SMP Negeri 1 Batang Toru featured several speakers, including Supervisor of Environmental Assurance at Agincourt Resources, Randyka Nugraha; interns from the Bogor Agricultural University (IPB University), Adib Ihsanur Rofi and Yuna Ratna Wulansari; and a young innovator from Angkola and founder of Bengkel Sampah, Nazamuddin Siregar. Meanwhile, the event at SMA Negeri 1 Batang Toru also included Randyka Nugraha, researchers from Universitas Nasional (UNAS), Mira Farhana, and from IPB University, Tamara Muna Anisa, as well as the innovator and founder of Bengkel Sampah Nazamuddin Siregar.

The materials presented during the event included waste issues in Indonesia, the history of National Waste Awareness Day, Indonesia’s waste management plan, the concept of circular economy, and the introduction to simple waste management practices.
This event also emphasized the importance of raising awareness among the younger generation regarding waste management and environmental conservation. Through Martabe Goes to School, Agincourt Resources hopes to foster a generation that is more concerned with environmental issues and ready to contribute to creating a cleaner and more environmentally friendly Indonesia.
