On Thursday, April 10, 2025, Agincourt Resources held a handover ceremony for its Community Development and Empowerment Program (PPM) assistance in conjunction with a Halal Bihalal event at Sopo Daganak, Napa Village, Batang Toru District, South Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra. This moment of togetherness served not only as a post-Eid al-Fitr gathering, but also as a tangible manifestation of the Company’s ongoing commitment to fostering sustainable synergy with the community. The total value of assistance distributed reached IDR 2.76 billion, aimed at improving healthcare services, education, and environmental management in the Batang Toru and Muara Batang Toru Districts.

The assistance provided through the PPM included one ambulance fully equipped with medical devices for the Batang Toru Community Health Center (Puskesmas), one garbage truck with two 6-cubic-meter waste containers, four motorcycles for mobile healthcare services, six motorcycles for mobile library services, and 7,028 school bag and stationery packages for elementary school students. The provision of motorcycles was the result of collaboration between Agincourt Resources and strategic partners such as PT Astra Honda Motor and PT Indako Trading Coy, who actively support efforts to expand access to basic services in remote areas.

Rahmat Lubis, General Manager Operations & Deputy Director Operations of Agincourt Resources, stated in his speech that the event reflected the sustainability principles that underpin the company’s operations. “We want to ensure that our presence delivers direct and long-term benefits to surrounding communities, and that we contribute to their independence and improved quality of life. Our PPM initiatives throughout 2024 reached a value of over USD 2.6 million, and our commitment remains to consistently deliver programs that positively impact communities,” said Rahmat.

Christine Pepah, Senior Manager Community of Agincourt Resources, emphasized that all assistance was based on a direct assessment of community needs. “The ambulance was provided to strengthen emergency response capabilities, while the mobile healthcare motorcycles will help health workers reach remote areas, in line with the national Primary Services Integration Program. The mobile library is intended to inspire children to cultivate a love for reading from an early age,” Christine explained.
Appreciation was also expressed by the Regent of South Tapanuli, Gus Irawan Pasaribu, who attended the event. He stated that the assistance from Agincourt Resources was highly relevant and addressed the real needs of the community. “This is not just symbolic—it’s a concrete expression of the company’s concern in supporting sustainable development in healthcare, education, and environmental preservation,” said Gus Irawan.

Elina Indriani Batubara, Head of the Batang Toru Community Health Center, also expressed her gratitude for the support provided. “The ambulance and operational vehicles will greatly assist in accelerating medical responses in our region, especially in villages located far from health service centers,” said Elina.
Joy was also evident among the student beneficiaries. Afika Talita Azra, a fifth-grade student at SD Sigala-gala, expressed her gratitude, saying, “I will use the bag and stationery for school and studying. Thank you, Agincourt Resources.” The Halal Bihalal event was made even more meaningful with the presence of Agincourt Resources’ management, partners, and various stakeholders, who all attended in a warm and familial atmosphere. A sermon delivered by Ustaz Zulfan Efendi Hasibuan enriched the event, highlighting messages on the importance of unity, forgiveness, and social care as part of the spirit of Eid al-Fitr.
