Environmental sustainability remains a primary focus for companies in maintaining ecosystem balance while supporting operational efficiency. As part of the AHEMCE Group (Astra Heavy Equipment, Mining, Construction, and Energy) under PT Astra International Tbk, Agincourt Resources participated in the Solid Waste Management Project 2025, a strategic initiative designed to enhance integrated and measurable solid waste management in alignment with Astra Sustainability Aspirations, particularly the target of managing 99% of solid waste by 2030. In recognition of its participation, Agincourt Resources was awarded 2nd Best Participant at the Astra Environment Summit 2025, themed Serenade from the Future, held on 16 December 2025 at Catur Dharma Hall, Menara Astra, 5th Floor, Jakarta.

The project implementation included several key stages: evaluation of existing solid waste management conditions, development of innovations based on processes, technology, and collaborative models, preparation of a waste management roadmap through 2030, as well as intensive guidance through field practices, benchmarking with best practices from both internal Astra Group entities and external parties, and facilitation of collaboration with relevant third-party partners. This approach enables the company not only to increase the proportion of solid waste managed but also to build an innovative, sustainable, and replicable waste management system.
This achievement underscores Agincourt Resources’ commitment to continuously innovate in waste management, strengthen a culture of environmental sustainability, and actively support the overall sustainability strategy of the AHEMCE Group and PT Astra International Tbk. Cross-sector synergy, best practices, and the dedication of the entire team form a crucial foundation in achieving the 2030 solid waste management targets while ensuring the company makes a tangible contribution to both the environment and the wider community.
