Feb 11, 2026

Public health is a vital foundation in supporting quality of life and regional productivity. Optimal healthcare services are determined not only by competent medical personnel, but also by the availability of safe and standard-compliant supporting facilities.

As part of its commitment to enhancing the quality of healthcare services, Agincourt Resources has supported the construction of standard-compliant Temporary Storage Facilities (TPS) for hazardous and toxic (B3) waste at Batang Toru Community Health Centre and Muara Batang Toru Community Health Centre. These facilities are equipped with supporting safety infrastructure to ensure that medical waste management is carried out in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Health.

During the handover ceremony held on 11 February 2026 at Batang Toru Community Health Centre, Manager Community Relations Agincourt Resources, Masdar Muda, stated that this support forms part of the company’s commitment to strengthening the public healthcare system. “We hope this facility will support safer medical waste management, ensuring that healthcare services can operate effectively without posing risks to the environment,” he remarked.

Appreciation was also conveyed by Head of the Tapanuli Selatan Health Office, dr Sri Khairunnisa, who emphasised that the provision of this standard-compliant facility will assist community health centres in meeting safety and environmental management requirements. “This collaboration represents a positive step towards improving safer and more reliable healthcare services for the community,” she stated.

Through this initiative, Agincourt Resources continues to ensure that excellent services are supported by advanced facilities, contributing to a more resilient and sustainable healthcare system for the community.
