Agincourt Resources remains committed to ensuring that its operational activities are carried out in harmony with environmental sustainability and regulatory compliance, particularly in maintaining the quality of process water.

One of the key initiatives consistently implemented is the regular monthly collection of water samples. This activity is not merely routine, but an essential step to ensure that water quality is maintained through systematic monitoring processes and testing conducted in accredited laboratories.

In its implementation, the company collaborates with an Integrated Team comprising representatives from government, academia, and local communities, including representatives from 15 villages surrounding the mining area on 14th March 2026. Water samples are collected from several monitoring points, including the Water Polishing Plant, the upstream section, and the downstream section of the Batang Toru River. The laboratory test results serve as the basis for joint evaluation to ensure that water quality meets the standards set by the government.
The Head of the Pollution and Environmental Damage Control Division (PPLH) of the Environmental Agency, Herman S. Siregar, stated that this activity forms part of regular and transparent monitoring efforts to ensure environmental quality is maintained. He emphasised that the involvement of multiple stakeholders in the Integrated Team is key to maintaining the objectivity of the monitoring results.
Meanwhile, Supervisor Monitoring West Block of Agincourt Resources, Dahlia Hasibuan, explained that the monitoring process is carried out routinely in accordance with established procedures and involves testing in accredited laboratories. She highlighted that the monitoring results serve as an important basis for evaluation and sustainable environmental management.

Agincourt Resources views this collaboration as a strategic effort to maintain public trust while ensuring that all environmental management processes are conducted responsibly. Through strong synergy with the government and stakeholders, Agincourt Resources remains committed to upholding transparency, strengthening oversight, and ensuring that every environmental management effort is realised through concrete and sustainable actions.
