As part of its commitment to supporting community development in areas surrounding its operational site, Agincourt Resources continues to implement various Community Development and Empowerment Programmes designed to create tangible benefits for local communities, including through infrastructure development tailored to local needs.
This commitment was once again demonstrated through the signing of the Handover Report for the construction of the Batuhula Village Open Hall, which took place on 12th June 2026 in Batuhula Village. The activity involved the Community Relations Development (CRD) team of Agincourt Resources, village officials, and the construction committee as part of the formal handover process and review of the completed facility.
The construction of the open hall was designed as a supporting facility that can be utilised for a wide range of community activities. The facility is expected to serve as a shared space where residents can hold village meetings, organise social activities, access public services, conduct Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) programmes, and support the regular implementation of community health services through Posyandu.
In addition to providing direct benefits to the community, the presence of this open hall is also expected to improve the effectiveness of village officials in delivering more optimal public services.
Adequate infrastructure remains one of the key factors in strengthening public service delivery while supporting a wide range of social activities within the village community.
Representatives of the Batuhula Village Government expressed appreciation for the support provided by Agincourt Resources in helping deliver infrastructure that has long been needed by the local community.
