As part of the commitment to improve the quality of Human Resources (HR), Agincourt Resources organized Public Speaking and outbound training for 16 members of the Martabe Gold Mine Residual Process Water Quality Monitoring Integrated Team for 2024-2026. The five-day intensive training was held in Bukit Tinggi, West Sumatra, from Saturday to Tuesday, October 30 to November 3, 2024.
This activity is a continuation of the technical briefing that was held last September. The main objectives of the training were to improve communication and teamwork skills, build positive attitudes and self-confidence, and foster a spirit of togetherness and commitment in carrying out environmental monitoring tasks.

The training was officially opened by the Head of the South Tapanuli Environment Agency, Ongku Muda Atas. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of good communication skills for the Integrated Team in delivering information to the community. “The ability to communicate effectively will greatly help the Integrated Team carry out its duties,” he said.
Agincourt Resources Senior Manager Community, Christine Pepah, added that this training has an important role in strengthening the capacity of the Integrated Team. “This training not only aims to equip the Integrated Team with effective public speaking skills but also to build confidence, positive attitude, and strong teamwork spirit. We hope that through this training, the team can carry out environmental monitoring tasks with high professionalism and deliver information transparently and accurately to the public,” she said.

For three days, participants attended various training sessions, ranging from public speaking, outbound with various educational games and role plays, to city tours. Through public speaking training, participants were trained to speak in public with confidence, use effective language, and convey messages clearly. Meanwhile, the outbound activities aimed to improve teamwork, problem solving, and build better relationships between team members.
With the various skills acquired during this training, Agincourt Resources hopes that the Integrated Team can carry out its duties more effectively in positively contributing to the community and the surrounding environment.
