Agincourt Resources demonstrated its strong commitment to supporting community development in its operational area by attending and fully supporting the inauguration of the management board of the Perkumpulan Sahabat Cerdas (PERSADA) for the 2025-2027 term. PERSADA is an independent organization that manages informal education activities at Sanggar Seni Sopo Daganak (SANIPODA) and Children’s Reading Park (TBA), with members spread across Batang Toru and Muara Batang Toru Districts.
The inauguration ceremony took place on Friday, February 7, 2025, at Sopo Daganak, a facility that also represents Agincourt Resources’ support for informal education and talent development in the Batang Toru area and its surroundings.

The new PERSADA board has a variety of duties, ranging from supervising and mentoring 14 TBAs, managing and maintaining assets at Sopo Daganak and TBAs, establishing good relations with Agincourt Resources stakeholders, and assisting Agincourt Resources in implementing the eight pillars of the Community Empowerment Development (PPM) program. In addition, they are also expected to build partnerships with various parties and develop business units for the organization’s independence. The Chairperson of PERSADA for the 2025-2027 term, Dastri Sejoli Harahap, expressed her gratitude for the trust given by Agincourt Resources to manage informal education at Sopo Daganak and TBAs. “As residents of Batang Toru, we have a strong desire to advance the region, especially in the field of education. We are also grateful for the assistance provided by Agincourt Resources so far so that educational activities at Sopo Daganak and TBAs can run smoothly.”
