Education does not only about intellectual ability, it also requires physical facilities to support health and character development among the younger generation. Responding to this need, Agincourt Resources has supported the construction of a Multi-Purpose Sports Field at MAN Insan Cendekia Tapanuli Selatan (MAN IC Tapsel), Sipirok. The handover ceremony took place on 26th September 2025 and was attended by more than 500 participants, including representatives of government, educators, and students.

The multi-purpose facility, valued at IDR 436 million, was built through a self-managed mechanism with full support from Agincourt Resources. It can be used for basketball, volleyball, and futsal, and serves as a hub for sports and extracurricular activities. The project aims to enhance the quality of teaching and learning, while also encouraging students’ talents and interests in sport.
The Regent of South Tapanuli, Gus Irawan Pasaribu, expressed his appreciation for the company’s contribution. “Synergy between government, schools, and industry is essential to building a young generation that is healthy, competitive, and of strong character. The presence of this sports field is a tangible step in supporting both education and public health,” he said.
Meanwhile, Senior Manager Community Agincourt Resources, Christine Pepah, reaffirmed the company’s commitment. “We believe quality education must be supported by adequate facilities. Through the construction of this multi-purpose sports field, we want to provide space for students to grow healthily, achieve excellence, and prepare to become future leaders,” she explained.
