Light shines for hundreds of people in South Tapanuli through the Martabe Gold Mine Free Cataract Surgery, held at Sipirok Regional General Hospital (RSUD Sipirok) on 24th–26th October 2025. A total of 328 eyes from 278 patients underwent successful operations, marking a concrete step by Agincourt Resources in helping communities restore their vision and improve their quality of life.

The event was attended by General Manager Operations & Deputy Director Operations of Agincourt Resources, Rahmat Lubis, who observed the surgery process and warmly interacted with patients. The strong public enthusiasm demonstrated the real impact of the programme not only in improving eye health but also in restoring hope and confidence among the community.

Fully support also came from the Regent of South Tapanuli, H. Gus Irawan Pasaribu, who visited the hospital on 25th October 2025 to observe the operations first-hand and expressed his appreciation for the continuation of the Martabe Gold Mine Free Cataract Surgery, which he regarded as a tangible form of corporate support for public health services.

Through this initiative, Agincourt Resources reaffirms its commitment to responsible and people-centred mining practices. To date, a total of 657 eyes from residents across South Tapanuli and North Sumatra have regained their sight a powerful symbol of compassion, health, and renewed hope for a brighter future.
