In response to the urgent needs of communities affected by flash floods and landslides in Desa Garoga and surrounding areas, Kecamatan Batang Toru, Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan, North Sumatra, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) has once again distributed humanitarian aid. The second round of assistance was delivered on 31st December 2025 through the logistics office of Agincourt Resources, which has served as the coordination and distribution centre since the onset of the disaster. The aid was handed over to the Government of Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan and subsequently distributed to affected residents with operational support from Agincourt Resources as the government’s on-ground partner.

The assistance comprised 300 tents, 300 air mattresses, and five jet pumps to support the recovery of affected communities. The handover was conducted symbolically by representatives of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources to Agincourt Resources.

Since the disaster struck, Agincourt Resources, together with the Government of Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan, the Regional Disaster Management Agency (Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah – BPBD), the Indonesian National Armed Forces–Indonesian National Police (Tentara Nasional Indonesia–Kepolisian Republik Indonesia – TNI–Polri), the Agincourt Resources Disaster Response Team, the Emergency Response Group (ERG) ESDM, and volunteers have established posts, operated field kitchens, provided healthcare services, and deployed heavy equipment and helicopters to restore access and deliver logistics to isolated areas.
