Agincourt Resources’ commitment to improving community health extends beyond adults to include young people as the next generation of future leaders. Through its Community Development and Empowerment Programme (PPM) in the health sector, Agincourt Resources once again organised the Generation Planning (GenRe) Goes to School programme at MTsN 3 Batang Toru on 28 July 2026.

The initiative involved the South Tapanuli Generation Planning Forum, the Batang Toru Family Planning Counsellors (PKB), teachers from MTsN 3 Batang Toru, and the Agincourt Resources Community Services team. A total of 112 participants took part in the programme, comprising 100 students, four teachers and the school principal, two representatives of the Family Planning Counsellors, and six members of the South Tapanuli Generation Planning Forum.
The Generation Planning Programme aims to equip young people with the knowledge and skills needed to plan their futures thoughtfully and responsibly. Through the programme, participants are encouraged to understand the importance of maintaining good health, developing positive character traits, and avoiding high-risk behaviours that could hinder their future aspirations.
The Principal of MTsN 3 Batang Toru, Oloan Harahap, expressed his appreciation for PT Agincourt Resources’ consistent support in developing young people in the Batang Toru area. He also hoped that the Generation Planning Ambassadors would serve as positive role models, inspiring young people to confidently plan their futures, avoid risky behaviours, and actively share information on reproductive health and the importance of delaying marriage until an appropriate age.
Through this initiative, Agincourt Resources hopes to empower more young people with the knowledge, confidence, and capability to make informed decisions about their futures. After all, a healthy, resilient, and empowered generation is a vital foundation for building a more advanced and sustainable society.
