In commemoration of Mother’s Day in 2022 and as an effort to preserve local and modern art and culture, PT Agincourt Resources (PTAR) through the Community Development Department in collaboration with the Perkumpulan Sahabat Cerdas (PERSADA) facilitates the creation of the younger generation (learning age) in Batangtoru and Muara Batangtoru Sub-District by again holding the 2022 Pentas Seni Anak on Friday, December 30, 2022 at Sopo Daganak.
PTAR Community Relations Manager Masdar Muda in his speech stated that every year, the Children’s Art Performance presents a different concept which this year raises the concept of protecting nature and the environment because everything is a gift that we must pass down properly for our children and grandchildren in the future.
Various performances of creativity were shown, including traditional music performances of gondang topap and gordang Sambilan, modern and traditional dance, modern music (bands), drama, to various competitions, and a traditional snack bazaar.
The Pentas Seni Anak is a PTAR Community Development and Empowerment Program (PPM) in the field of Quality Acceleration Improvement and Education Services which is routinely held twice a year, on National Children’s Day in July and on Mother’s Day in December.
The 2022 Pentas Seni Anak was attended by more than 500 invited guests, including representatives of the South Tapanuli Regency Government, Acting Head of the Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection Service (PPPA) Hubban Nasution, representatives of the South Tapanuli Education and Library Services, Leadership Coordination Forum in the Sub-District of Batangtoru and Muara Batangtoru, village heads, parents, TBA observers, and the community.
