PT Agincourt Resources (PTAR) took the initiative to organize the Batik Fashion Parade 2023 on Sunday, November 19, 2023, at Lapangan PTPN III Batangtoru. The Batik Fashion Parade 2023 serves as the inaugural event organized by PTAR, providing a comprehensive overview of the community program, ranging from the manufacturing process and product standard fulfillment to the various derivatives of batik. The event is collaboratively executed with the exhibition of dozens of products from SMEs PTAR’s , contributing to the festive celebration of the 73rd anniversary of South Tapanuli Regency. This marks the pinnacle of the Grand Exhibition of South Tapanuli Batik.

Previously, the celebration of the 73rd anniversary of South Tapanuli Regency was inaugurated by the Regent of South Tapanuli, Dolly Putra Parlindungan Pasaribu on November 18, 2023, and attended by representatives from PTAR, including Senior Manager Community Christine Pepah, Manager Community Development Rohani Simbolon, and Manager Public Relations Reni Radhan.
The Batik Fashion Parade 2023 featured the involvement of designers from the local to national level. A diverse range of batik products and their variations were showcased to generate wider appreciation.
On the same occasion, representatives from PTAR, Senior Manager Human Capital Development Sandra Makadada and Senior Manager Community Christine Pepah, also joined to enliven the fashion show stage.
PTAR’s Senior Manager Community, Christine Pepah, emphasized that the promotion of sustainable livelihood development within the community is a key focus of PTAR’s Community Development and Empowerment Program (PPM). Batik Tapsel and its derivative products represent local potentials capable of creating new job opportunities, offering additional income for families, and fostering new actors in social entrepreneurship.
