This position will be based at the Martabe Site within the OH&S Department, with direct reporting to the Manager – OH&S.
The Graduate Development Program – OH&S is to protect worker health and safety by anticipating, recognizing, evaluating, and controlling environmental hazards in the workplace, such as chemical, physical, biological, and ergonomic risks. This is accomplished through risk assessments, hazard identification, the implementation of engineering and administrative controls, employee training, and ensuring compliance with occupational health regulations like OSHA and NIOSH standards. This role requires a high level of integrity and honesty, along with excellent systematic problem solving skills and ability to communicate with people from other departments and Senior Management. This role often involves working to deadlines and close coordination with department representatives.
Applicants for this position are required to fulfill the following qualifications and criteria:
- Bachelor Degree in OHS or Engineering, desirable Master Degree in OHS or Engineering.
- Maximum have three (3) years experience in OHS worlds, studies, contest or events.
- Ability to develop OHS event and promotion through various offline and online media, papers within scientific method, and to present papers within scientific method.
- Possess advanced MS Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook and SharePoint.
- Possess good written and verbal skill in English and Bahasa Indonesian.
- The ability to act alone and make discretionary decisions in a safe, professional and workman like manner.
- Possess excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
- Experienced in organizing OHS events and promotions through various offline and online media, any research or scientific studies, contests or events, and delivering presentation on any research or scientific studies, contests or events.
- Willing to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Able to work effective and professionally individually or in a team.
- Possess advanced skill in using any database or programming software.
